Magnetic Island Prints is a small print studio in Townsville, North Queensland. We're named after the island just across the bay — that's where a lot of the look and feel comes from, even though the studio itself sits on the mainland.

Here's how it actually works. We handle the design and artwork side, then bring in print suppliers to produce the orders. Some of those suppliers are here in Australia, others are overseas. No single supplier is best at everything, so we match each job to the one that'll do it properly — the right fit for the garment, the print, the quantity and the deadline you're working to.

Made around what you ask for

Most of what we sell is made to order. You tell us what you need — the product, the design, how many, and when you need it by — and we line up the supplier best placed to deliver it. Working with both local and international partners means we're not stuck inside one factory's range or minimums, so we can usually get you the thing you actually wanted rather than the closest substitute.

Wholesale, retail and custom runs

If you're a brand, festival, event, club or business after custom apparel in bulk, wholesale is the way to go. Apply through the wholesale application form — we review every application by hand, then sort out your pricing and walk you through it, usually within a business day. If you just want a piece or two, the retail catalogue is open with no minimums.
